KCR, Jagan, Others Condole Demise Of Raghavachari
Hyderabad, Oct.28 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed deep condolences at the demise of senior journalist and former Editor of “Visalandhra” newspaper and social activist Chakravarthula Raghavachari.
In a message here today, the Chief Minister described Raghavachari as a committed journalist and a man of values and principles of social activism. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy too expressed grief over the death of Chakravarthula Raghavachari, a veteran journalist and former editor of “Visalandhra” Telugu daily. Jagan said, “Raghavachari believed in value-based journalism, which reflected in his writings and has been an inspiration to younger generations”, he wrote in his message.
Telangana Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana today expressed shock at the demise of Raghavachari. In a communiqué, Narayana noted that Raghavachari was known for his values and ethics in journalism field. Raghavachari has served in the field for a long time as also Editor of the Telugu newspaper. He also said Raghavachari waged fight on people’s issues and strove for social cause. His services in the field will be remembered for ever, Narayana added. (Maxim News)
