Hyderabad, Oct.5 (Maxim News): Stating that the people were seeing the conditions prevailed nowhere in the nation like Telangana state, Congress senior leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy has lashed out at the caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saying that the latter was behaving in a manner that killing the democracy.
Speaking to the media after attending the High Court on his petition in regard to voter list here on Friday, Marri said that KCR was adopting the attitude of removing the votes of the people, who were not in favor of him, since 2015 with the intention that he will win easily in the elections. He alleged that KCR directed the Election Commission officials to remove the Seemandhra peoples’ votes thinking that they will not cast their votes to him during GHMC elections.
He said that he never saw such incidents in his life in the past. Asking KCR, who extended his support to simultaneous elections, to tell as to why he preferred early elections. He said that he will not use the language used by the KCR against his fellow chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He alleged that KCR went to early elections thinking that he will win the elections easily with the illegal voters list. (Maxim News)
