KCR slams center over anti farmer policies

Hyderabad, Oct.8 (Maxim News): The Chief Minister of the State K Chandrasekhar Rao today slammed the Central government and said that the center had adopted anti farmer policies. He also lashed out at the center over It’s Fasal Bhima scheme. He claimed that the Fasal Bhima scheme was a bogus scheme.

Replying to questions raised by the MLAs during question hour in Assembly, CM KCR said that persons like Minathan and Ashok had recommended the central government to introduce changes in the agriculture sector . He claimed that the central government ignored the recommendations. He alleged that the bank authorities had collected the crop insurance amount from the farmers , who went to the banks for paying the due amount of their loans . He said that the policies of the central government were not proper and added that the Fasal Bhima scheme was not scientific in nature while noting that the scheme has not helped the farmers of the country. He said that they would send their suggestions to the central government on the Fasal Bhima scheme .

Stating that they are criticizing the central government, he said that it was not proper for the central government to criticize the state government. He made it clear that the center has certain responsibilities as it is representing the country. He urged the central government to build cold godowns for storing food grains while stating that it is the responsibility of the center to build the cold godowns. He said that the construction of the cold godowns would help them to transport the food grains from one place to another. He said that the central government was stating that it would not buy the paddy.

Center did not respond on Hyderabad floods talking about Hyderabad floods , he alleged that the central government did not respond on the issue even after seeking ₹8000 compensation from it. He alleged that the central government was also not responding on the issue of giving some money for disaster management. (Maxim News)
