KCR Slams Modi, Rahul, Plans Federal Front For States Rights
Hyderabad, Nov.28 (Maxim News): Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chief Amit Shah of telling “blatant lies” on power sector and irrigation projects in Telangana, TRS supremo and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today lashed out at the former for setting aside the bill passed in Telangana Assembly and approved by a cabinet meeting in favour of increasing 12 per cent reservations to the Minorities and STs.
KCR expressed displeasure at Modi for ignoring the State’s plea of reservations and 30 letters in that regard. He slammed the Prime Minister asking whether India was the sole asset of his grandfather. “Does India belongs to your ancestors and all States like Telangana and others are not part of the country?”, he thundered. “As the population of the Muslims increased manifold, there was a need for increasing reservations for them and the Centre cannot deny permission in that regard just for the sake of supremacy on the States. This is totally unjust and depriving the States of their powers and delaying justice which will have adverse impact on the BJP or the Congress at the Centre”.
Turning tables on the BJP and the Congress for their tirade against the TRS leadership going for the polls, KCR claimed that the TRS regime has done everything for the cause of the people, women and all sections through various schemes. He vouched for the non-Congress, non-BJP government at the Centre for achieving the rights of the States. “I have been speaking to other States’ leaders to form federal front to take on these two national parties and there was a need for another flag at the Centre after the 2019 polls, he averred.
KCR asked whether the States being ruled by the Congress and the BJP are giving pensions like Rs 1,000 to old aged persons, Rs 1,500 for physically challenged persons and so on. Have the people of Telangana expected whether Rythu Bandhu will come up and Rythu Bhima to help the kin of the deceased farmers. These schemes are only in Telangana and being appreciated by other States, he claimed. He also asked the people to deny votes to the Congress-led Mahakutami in the December 7 elections. “Since, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was coming in the way of our projects and stalling growth and trying to have his say in future after the polls, the people should teach Naidu and the Congress a lesson in the polls,” he said.
