KCR’s Huzurnagar Visit Cancelled Due To Bad Weather Conditions

Hyderabad, Oct.17 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandraselkhar Rao’s proposed visit to Huzurnagar stands cancelled, in view of the adverse weather conditions and heavy rain in Huzurnagar accompanied by lightning and storms, said a press note from the CMO.

A public meeting was scheduled to be addressed by KCR today, in connection with the by-election to Huzurnagar Assembly seat. In view of the suggestion from aviation department, the scheduled meeting stands cancelled. Aviation department has not given clearance to the Helicopter which the Chief Minister is supposed to use for leaving to Huzurnagar today.

The Director of Aviation, VN Bharat Reddy, said in a press note today that the weather is bad at Huzurnagar because of cloud burst (CB) clouds, squally weather and strong wind build up enroute from Hyderabad to Huzurnagar. All these conditions result in reduced flight visibility, low clouds, thunder, lightning, strong vertical currents, heavy rain conditions and strong gusty winds which are detrimental to Flight safety.

“In view of the safety of Chief Minister and other passengers on board the helicopter, my sincere request to the Chief Minister to call off the programme”, Bharat Reddy added. (Maxim News)
