Hyderabad, Sept 14 (Maxim News): Telangana BJP President and Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, G. Kishan Reddy who took up 24 hunger strikes demanding to provide employment to the unemployed youths has ended his strike today.  Former Union Minister Prakash Javadekar gave lemon juice and stopped the initiation by him.

Kishan Reddy started a 24-hour hunger strike on Wednesday at Indira Park on the problems of the unemployed in Telangana.  Around 6 p.m., the police surrounded the premises and forcibly took him to the BJP state office.  Kishan Reddy sustained injuries on his hand and chest in the fight at Dharna Chowk and doctors conducted tests.  Against this background, doctors examined the health condition again on Thursday morning.

Prakash Javadekar said that BJP State President Kishan Reddy has taken a bold decision to fight for the unemployed.  He appreciated the efforts shown by the BJP workers in the wake of the initiation.  He stated that we have already shown the BJP’s capabilities to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on various occasions.

G. Kishan Reddy concluded his 24-hour hunger strike against the BRS government for failing to provide employment opportunities to Telangana youth in the presence of State Election Incharge Prakash Javadekar.

Kishan Reddy accused the government of trying to stop his peaceful dharna.  He said that because KCR knew that he had cheated the youth of Telangana, he sent the police out of fear.  He said that in the next hundred days, KCR will continue the programs to inform people about corruption and irregularities.
