Governor Tamilisai Given Approval To The TSRTC Merger Bill

Hyderabad, September 14, 2023: Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has given her approval to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (Absorption of Employees into Government Service) Bill-2023, clearing the path for the long-awaited merger of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation with the state government.

According to a statement from the Raj Bhavan, the Governor thoroughly evaluated the government’s response to her ten recommendations, which took into account employee concerns and the overall well-being of the corporation. She expressed satisfaction that these recommendations had been diligently addressed.

The statement also conveyed the Governor’s congratulations and best wishes to all TSRTC employees as they transition into their new roles as government employees.
