Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy all set to join BJP, meets Amit Shah

Hyderabad, July 22: Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, Congress MLA from Munugode constituency, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Wednesday. He was accompanied by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. The meeting between three lasted for 45 minutes.

Amit Shah reportedly invited Rajgopal Reddy to join BJP. He gave an indication to MLA to get ready for by-election. Amit Shah wants to show BJP’s strength to TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) by winning Munugode constituency.

For the past one year, the MLA is unhappy with the working style of the Congress high command. He strongly believes that the BJP alone can fight with KCR’s TRS in Telangana. However, he did not violate party command when it comes to voting in just concluded presidential election.

So far, Rajgopal Reddy did not make any official statement regarding his entry into the BJP. A meeting was arranged in Chandur mandal headquarters by MLA’s followers was postponed in the last minute.
