Komram Bhim Life Ideal to Tribals: Satyavathi Rathod

Hyderabad, Oct.20 (Maxim News): ST welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod today stated that Komram Bhim life was inspirational to others as he sacrificed his life for the cause of people near forest, Tribals and uplift of downtrodden.

To mark 81st death anniversary of Komram Bhim, the minister paid rich tributes to him here at a program. The Minister recalled Komram Bhim services as he fought for rights of Tribals and the sons of the forest, she noted. The TRS government is going ahead to fulfill the aspirations of Komram Bhim.

KCR Government built a memorial at Jode Ghat, the birthplace of Komrabm Bhim in the previous Adilabad district, she said.

The minister said that the government spent Rs 25 cr and built the place as a memorial, symbol and tribal museum to see that Tribals and future generations should know of Komram Bhim bravery and sacrifice.

The government is implementing several programs for Tribals, destitute and deprived sections, the minister claimed. (Maxim News)
