Hyderabad, May 25: BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao expressed confidence that K. Chandrashekar Rao will return as Chief Minister in 2028 and urged party workers not to feel discouraged.
Addressing party leaders and workers, KTR said the previous BRS government provided drinking water connections at minimal cost and ensured round the clock electricity supply for agriculture and industries.
He stated that the BRS government under KCR had delivered clean drinking water and uninterrupted power supply across Telangana within a short period.
KTR Targets Congress Government Over Economy
KTR alleged that the real estate sector in Telangana had weakened under the present government.
He also extended support to centring workers and construction workers protesting near Indira Park and assured that the BRS would stand by them.
The BRS leader said welfare schemes including insurance programmes for workers would be implemented once the party returns to power.
KTR announced that new party presidents would be appointed in 15 divisions of Kukatpally and said BRS membership registration would begin in June.
He stated that the party was carrying out digital membership registration and booth level strengthening activities across Telangana.
According to KTR, the party plans to create awareness about central government schemes after the membership drive.
He said Telangana has over 3.39 crore voters and nearly 35,985 polling stations and added that BRS has already appointed booth level agents.
KTR urged party leaders and workers to remain active on public issues and move forward with the slogan that every vote is valuable.
He also said corporator tickets in future elections would be allotted based on surveys and public outreach performance.
