KTR Hands Over Insurance Cheques To Kin Of TRS Activists

Hyderabad, Nov.6 (Maxim News): TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao today offered insurance coverage cheques to family members of TRS activists who died. At Telangana Bhavan, the minister gave away the cheques of Rs 31.62 crore among 1,581 persons, who are kin of the deceased TRS leaders and activists.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR said TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was committed for welfare of 60 lakh party members. “Though it gives me pain to meet you, I am happy to offer you insurance cheques”, KTR said. He attributed power to the TRS in Telangana due to support and efforts of the activists and leaders in the State.

KTR also said the party has paid Rs 11.50 crore to insurance companies towards coverage of 60 lakh members. The MLAs concerned in the districts will give cheques to other members, he added. (Maxim News)
