KTR Jubilee Hills Progress Report | Hyderabad, Nov 5 (Maxim News) : BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao released a detailed progress report on development works in Jubilee Hills constituency from 2014 to 2023.

Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, KTR challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to a public debate comparing BRS and Congress governance records.

KTR’s Open Challenge to the Chief Minister

KTR stated that he was ready to attend the debate at any location, including Jubilee Hills Palace, the Command Control Room, or Gandhi Bhavan, if the Chief Minister announced the time and place.

He further challenged Revanth Reddy to undergo a lie detector test if he had the courage. Despite personal criticism from the Chief Minister, KTR said he respected the office of the CM but believed that dignified political dialogue should prevail.

KTR Jubilee Hills Progress Report

According to the report, the BRS government spent ₹5,328 crore on various development and welfare works in the constituency. Of this, ₹919 crore was used for public health, including the construction of 13 hospitals in Jubilee Hills. About ₹324 crore was spent on double bedroom houses for the poor.

KTR detailed that under GHMC supervision, ₹17.3 crore was spent on a multipurpose community hall, ₹18 crore on repairs and other infrastructure, ₹5 crore on LED streetlights, and ₹2.7 crore on CCTV installations.

He said the BRS government upgraded the weak electricity system and turned Hyderabad into an “electricity island,” ensuring 24-hour power supply.

He added that ₹455 crore was spent on 10 new substations and ₹50 crore for providing 200 units of free electricity to Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas, Dalits, tribals, and small businesses.

The government also spent ₹180 crore to supply drinking water to every household, including ₹30 crore for 15,000 free tap connections and ₹150 crore for the Borabanda water reservoir.

To resolve drainage issues, ₹75 crore was allocated for permanent sewage solutions under SNDP and other civic works.

KTR said these works were halted after the change of government. Additionally, ₹20 crore was spent on park beautification, ₹4.45 crore on disaster management, and ₹2 crore on improving Gulakpur canal and Errakunta lake.

Over the last decade, ₹2,463 crore was invested in road development alone. KTR concluded that the report reflected BRS’s commitment to infrastructure growth and public welfare in Jubilee Hills. (Maxim News)
