KTR Slams Chandrababu On EVMs Jibe
Hyderabad, April 14 (Maxim News): TRS working president KT Rama Rao today lashed out at TD Supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his rhetoric against the use of EVMs in the general elections.
In an informal chat with media here today, KTR said the TD chief was resorting to false publicity on the EVMs only with fear of defeat in the polls. He asked whether the TD chief won the polls in 2014 when the Election Commission used the EVMs or not. “What will Chandrababu will do if the TDP wins the polls now though he was making a hue and cry on the EVMs of malfunctioning and election related irregularities, he asked. The TD chief is afraid of defeat in polls and blaming others.
The TRS will win 100 per cent results in the LS polls Rama Rao said, adding that Chief Minster K Chandrasekhar Rao is vouching for the polls for local bodies. The TRS will win these elections to be held in May. Upon the completion of these elections, the government will focus on development, KTR said. While the polls in TS held in peaceful manner, there was violence in Andhra Pradesh during the general elections. He said the Chandrababu Naidu government was opposing the EC for transfer of officials meant for fair polls. The TD chief has lost faith among people he said alleging that with no other go the congress party supported people to vote for the BJP.
The people will support the parties when they are satisfied with all the schemes and not just one or two. The Congress will lost deposits in five LS seats and will be in third position in another five seats and the people will not support the BJP. The employees and their associations will support the transparent rule. Majority of the employees in Revenue are good and problem is with only a few. Chandrababu feared the polls and took on the EC for transfer of intelligence chief Venkateshwar Rao. We hope that the coalition partners will form government in the Centre. (Maxim News)
