KTR Start Ranganayak Sagar, Siddipet Gets Waters

Hyderabad, April 24 (Maxim News): MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao started motor pumps at Ranganayak Sagar project Siddipet lands received eaters after decades at Chandapur just 2 km away.

The ministers gave Jalaharati first and as waters were lifted from 90 mt height Kaleshwaram site to 490 mt height Ranganayak sagar site. The government spent Rs 330 cr project was built in 2300 acres acquired from farmers with TMC capacity, the project was aimed to irrigate 1.10 lakh acres in parched lands in Siddipet and Siricilla districts. The pumps started will lift 3 TMC waters to irrigate the lands.

Harish Rao and KTR represent Siddipet and Siricilla segments. It will fill up 400 lakes and checkdams through left and right canals. Later, Harish Rao stated that long cherished dream has come true and vowed develop. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao worked like an engineer as engineers and workers made coordinated efforts for the project.

Harish Rao said that the combined state has neglected the area turning people become migrant labours. KCR achieved Telangana, he said, now completed Kaleswharam, brought waters to Siddipet and railway lane will be started soon.

KT Rama Rao said that he and Harish are lucky to inaugurate this pious project. The project waters will irrigate Kondapachamma Sagar crops in the district. He said that dream of irrigating 1.10 crore acres will be coming true in near future and hoped to see green revolution back in the state.

KTR said that all other projects will be completed on time to reach target of 1.10 cr acres irrigation he added. We lost our villages gone in Upper and Mid Manair project and land donors are great who will get all benefits as per RR norms. (Maxim News)
