Hyderabad, Oct. 18: Traffic restrictions and diversions will be in force around IDL Lake in Kukatpally on October 18 from 5 pm to 11 pm due to Bathukamma festival celebrations.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced alternative routes for commuters travelling towards Kukatpally Y-Junction during the festivities.
Traffic Diversions and Alternative Routes
Vehicles travelling from Hitec City, Madhapur and Hafeezpet towards Kukatpally Y-Junction will be diverted through Lucky Restaurant Signal, KPHB 4th Phase, Road No. 1 and the Remedy Hospital U-turn before reaching the junction.
Another alternative route will pass through Rainbow Vista, Anjaiah Nagar X Road, Moosapet and Vasundhara Hospital towards Kukatpally Y-Junction.
The traffic police have urged commuters to plan their journeys in advance, follow the diversions and cooperate with officials to ensure smooth traffic movement during the celebrations.
