It may be recalled that the fifth ruler of the Qutb Shahi Dynasty Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah the Charminar which is a monument and Mosque located in Hyderabad in the year 1591 after shifting the Capital from Golconda to the newly formed city of Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister while interacting with the media person in Delhi, said that Telangana itself is against the monarchy and remembers the sacrifices and struggles. He explained the official emblem and the state anthem will be a reflection of those struggles and sacrifices.

The new official logo is said to be Sammaka-Sarakka, capturing the spirit of Nagoba Jatara. He said that the responsibility of composing the music for the Telangana son had been entrusted to Andesree, the writer of that song. (Maxim News)
