BJP MP along with Etala Rajender, MP, and other leaders of the party went to the Central Jail in Sangareddy district today and met 16 people who were in jail in the Lagacharla case.

Speaking on the occasion, D. K Aruna said that they have been worrying for 8 months that the land will not be given to the pharma company in Lagacharla village. She said that the farmers were angry when the officials said that they would seize the land by force. She said that the farmers had boycotted the plebiscite.

Vikarabad District Collector Prateek Jain protested that if he did not actually come to the referendum then why did he go alone? She said that this incident happened due to the failure of the police.

CM Revanth’s brother said that the farmers there were sent away. He said that the lands would be acquired anyway. The farmers said that after this incident, the police came into the villages at night and attacked them as they pleased. They were angry that the Congress party had left their activists and arrested the others in the incident of the fight.

DK Aruna expressed her opinion that it would have been better if CM Revanth himself had gone and talked to them and asked them to give them land. But it is not right to do this by threatening and attacking without doing all this. She questioned why the CM’s brother went there when he had been prevented from going there.

It is alleged that they are taking signatures by threatening the farmers. Revanth Reddy is the Chief Minister and was elected from this constituency, it would be good when CM Revanth take n sides towards the farmers.

She asked whether the pharma company is more important than the people who voted for you and won. She criticized that CM Revanth is a resident of Kodangal but an immigrant. The farmers are protesting against the pharma companies just to hand over companies to those they like.

The BJP leaders demanded the immediate release of the victims of Lagacharla. She said that the aspirations of the people of the constituency are important. She said that KCR has gone to the farmhouse to pay usury to the poor. DK Aruna asked CM Revanth to let go of his arrogance, convince the farmers, and take the lands. (Maxim News)
