Hyderabad, Nov 11 (Maxim News): The government is preparing for a survey of agricultural lands in rural areas of the state. The Revenue Department is making arrangements to this effect. The Survey Department is planning to undertake this survey with more than 3,500 licensed surveyors recently appointed and surveyors already working in the department. For this, orders were sent to the district collectors from the office of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) in the third week of October to select 70 villages per district in all rural districts of the state.
The collectors of all districts have already started the process of selecting villages. However, it seems that changes are being made to the list of villages selected by the collectors in the first phase. As suggested in the video conference held recently by the CCLA, it seems tht villages with less than 200 acres and villages with fewer survey problems are being selected.
Revenue sources say that the process of selecting villages in all districts of the state will be completed in the next week and the survey will be started on a pilot basis this month itself.
As part of the survey of land issued by Bhudar, boundaries will be determined for each land plot. The Revenue Department has said that the data collected through GPS should be stored in QGIS software and uploaded to the Bhubharathi portal, and survey staff should be used for this.
Officials say that after the survey, the boundaries of each land plot will be determined and Bhudar cards will be issued for those plots on the lines of Aadhaar. They say that the survey will be conducted across the state based on the results of the experimental survey. (Maxim News)
