Hyderabad, Feb 14 (Maxim News): Siddipet MLA harish Rao has called on the leaders and people of Sangareddy district to fulfill long cherished aspiration of providing irrigation water to 4 lakh acres.

Harish Rao held a meeting with key leaders of Sangareddy district at his residence in Kokapet on Friday to discuss the course of action to be taken in the wake of the questionable progress of the Sangameshwara and Basaveshwara lift irrigation schemes after the Congress came to power.

MLAs Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, Chinta Prabhakar, Manik Rao, former MLAs Bhupal Reddy, DCMS Chairman Shiva Kumar, former ZP Chairman Jaipal Reddy and other key leaders participated in the meeting.

The BRS party will hold protest programs in the designated areas of the projects, demanding the immediate completion of the Sangameshwara and Basaveshwara projects.

Two years ago, on February 21, 2022, KCR who was then the Chief Minister, laid the foundation stone for these projects in Narayankhed. Even after 14 months of coming to power, the Congress party has not even looked at those projects.

With this, the irrigation water of the people of Narayankhed, Andol, Sangareddy and Zaheerabad constituencies of Sangareddy district has become a dream.

With this, he called for a movement in the government, completion of the projects and provision of irrigation water to about 4 lakh acres under the auspices of the BRS party. He advised us that we should be ready for that. (Maxim News)
