MAAElectionsUpdate: No politics in Movie Artists Association : Mohan Babu

Hyderabad, Oct.16 (Maxim News): Veteran Actor Manchu Mohan Babu today said that there would not be any politics in Movie Artists Association (MAA) and added that the association was a forum of all movie artists.

Addressing a gathering after the completion of the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected president of the association Manchu Vishnu, who is also the son of Mohan Babu, he said that it was not an ordinary matter to take charge as the president of the association. He asked Vishnu to take cautious steps on every issue that he comes across as the president of the association. He said that all the members of the association should work together.

Speaking further, Mohan Babu alleged that some members of the association tried to threaten them during the election campaign of the association and added that none got scared of the threats. He said that as to how he would repay the debt of those who ensured the victory of his son in the elections. Stating that the Telugu film industry is not dependent on the mercy of anybody, he said that only those who have talent would survive in the industry.

Mohan Babu said that the members of Manchu Vishnu panel worked hard for their victory . He said that he would soon meet CM KCR on the construction of houses for the Members of the association am solving their problems . He asked the members to solve their problems by talking to the president of the association and added that no member should talk to media about their problems.

He said that all his work for the first industry was forgotten by all. Heaping praises on actor Naresh, who worked hard for the victory of Manchu Vishnu in the elections, mohan Babu said that he would never forget the help of Naresh in his entire life and added that Naresh had even adjusted the shooting schedules of his movies to campaign for Manchu Vishnu.
