The minister handed over cheques to the families of late Mohammed Jaffar and late Shaik Siraj. Both victims lost their lives in the tragic bus accident near Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
AIMIM Nampally MLA Majid Hussain attended the programme. Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Khusro Pasha was also present. Minorities Welfare Secretary B. Shafiullah joined the event along with family members of the deceased.
The minister expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy. He said no financial assistance can replace a loved one. However, he assured families of the government’s continued support.
Government Acted Quickly After Accident
Azharuddin said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy responded immediately after the accident. He directed officials to provide all possible help to the affected families.
Therefore, a special delegation travelled to Saudi Arabia. The team included Minister Azharuddin, MLA Majid Hussain and senior officials. They coordinated relief efforts and assisted the bereaved families.
The delegation worked closely with the Indian Consulate and Saudi authorities. As a result, officials completed legal and burial formalities without delay. The government also arranged travel for family members who visited Saudi Arabia.
