Hyderabad: Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, who was admitted to a corporate hospital in Jubilee Hills after testing positive for Covid-19 on Sunday evening was discharged along with his son and grandson here on Friday.
The 67-year-old minister, his son and grandson underwent treatment at the hospital after their medical reports confirmed late last week that they were positive. “Thanks to the Almighty and for all those, who prayed for us. A big thank for your love and blessings,” the minister said.
Three security personnel, who were posted at the minister’s residence here first tested positive. A medical team immediately collected the samples of the minister along with over 40 staff working with him and at his residence last week.
Of the 40 samples, five more security personnel tested positive last week and they were asked to be under quarantine. On Sunday evening, the Minister tested positive. The minister was the first to admitted to the hospital while his son and grandson were admitted later.
