Covid19: 5 Employees Of Pragathi Bhavan Tests Positive

Hyderabad: Five employees working in Telangana Chief Minister KCR official residence Pragathi Bhavan tested positive for COVID-19. According to reports, the employees have undergone Coronavirus tests after they are suffering with COVID-19 symptoms and were found infected with the virus.

Medical and health officials immediately sanitised the entire Pragati Bhavan building.CM KCR is currently staying at his Gajwel house along with his family members from the past few days. The state government has not made any official statement on the issue.

Earlier, Telangana Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud and Telangana Home Minister Mahmood Ali were tested positive for COVID-19.

Three other TRS party MLA’s were also tested positive for the virus. Jangaon MLA MuthireddyYadagiri Reddy, Nizamabad Urban MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta and Nizamabad Rural MLA Bajireddy Govardhan were affected with Coronavirus.

Telangana reported 1,213 new COVID-19 cases reported on Thursday, July 2. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state reached 18,570 in which 9,226 cases are active. 2,987 members were discharged in July, with this a total of 9,069 COVID-19 affected members were completely cured and discharged from the hospital.
