Mahmood Ali, Sabitha Praised Teachers Of Building The Nation

Hyderabad, Sept 5 (Maxim News): Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali and Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the teachers are the builders of the nation and that their contribution to society is immeasurable.

Speaking on the occasion of the Teachers Day Celebrations at Ravindra Bharati, today, the Ministers said that the Telangana government places great importance on education and has been taking several initiatives to improve the quality of education in the state. 

Highlighting the “Mana Ooru Mana Badi” program, which has been launched with an investment of Rs. 7,289 crore to improve infrastructure in government schools.  They said that the program includes the provision of modern teaching equipment and essential facilities to 2,700 schools across the state. 

The Home Minister also said that the government has been providing scholarships to students from economically weaker sections and has been taking steps to improve the quality of education in minority institutions. 

Sabitha Indra Reddy said that teachers are the backbone of the education system and that they play a vital role in shaping the future of the nation.  She said that the Telangana government is committed to providing quality education to all children and that it will continue to support teachers in their efforts to impart quality education.

The Ministers also presented state-level Best Teacher Awards to outstanding educators from across the state. The event was attended by council members, including Vani Devi, AVN Reddy, Raghotam Reddy, President Sridhar Reddy, Director of School Education Sri Devasena, Prof. Limbadri, Naveen Mittal, and others.
