Hyderabad, July 26: Hyderabad Commissioner of Police V. C. Sajjanar has placed Malakpet Inspector Kumbham Narasimha under suspension following an internal inquiry into alleged lapses in the discharge of his official duties.
According to police sources, Kumbham Narasimha was transferred to Dabeerpura Police Station on April 14 this year and was later posted as Inspector of Malakpet Police Station. Earlier, he served as the Inspector at Sultan Bazar Police Station.
The departmental inquiry reportedly found negligence in handling certain cases and identified lapses in the discharge of his official responsibilities during his tenure at Sultan Bazar Police Station.
Based on the inquiry findings, the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police ordered the suspension of the officer pending further departmental proceedings.
