Hyderabad, June 27: Malkajgiri police arrested two persons in separate cybercrime cases involving alleged fraud amounting to Rs 74.4 lakh.
Police said the two cases involved job fraud and impersonation linked to financial extortion.
In the first case, police arrested Murra Harinath Reddy alias Hari, a resident of Alwal, for allegedly cheating a man of Rs 3.15 lakh by promising employment as a business specialist.

According to police, the victim approached authorities after not receiving the promised job opportunity.
Based on the complaint, a case was registered and the accused was taken into custody.
In the second case, police arrested Chikati Sandeep, a resident of NTR district in Andhra Pradesh.
Investigators alleged that Sandeep impersonated a CBI officer and falsely accused a person of involvement in money laundering.
Police said the accused allegedly extorted Rs 71.25 lakh from the victim using intimidation and false claims.
Both accused were produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.
Police urged citizens to verify job offers and remain cautious of individuals posing as government officials.
