Mallu Ravi Appointed TPCC Municipal Elections In-Charge
Hyderabad, July 13 (Maxim News): TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi has been appointed as Municipal Elections in-charge of the party by PCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy. He said they would hold a meeting at Ibrahimpatnam to prepare a strategy for victory in the municipal elections. Ravi said the party leaders Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Malreddy Ranga Reddy, Ch Vamshichand reddy and K. Vishweshwar Reddy would participate in the election strategy meeting. He also said such meetings would be held in all parts of the country.
Addressing the media here today, Ravi said their goal was to ensure victory of the party in the upcoming municipal elections. Commenting on the construction of new Secretariat and Assembly building complexes, he said the State was being ruled by a despot. He urged the people to ensure victory of Congress candidates in the upcoming civic elections.
Former MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy while reminding the promises of the Chief Minister KCR that he would turn Hyderabad into another Dallas city, he ridiculed that the roads in Hyderabad city were dotted with potholes and the roads were turning into cesspools even after a drizzle for a few minutes. He said the need of the hour was to ensure victory of the Congress to teach a lesson to the ruling TRS party. He also alleged that the CM was convening a two-day Assembly session to get publicity for his pet programs ahead of the ensuing municipal elections. (Maxim News)
