Man Arrested For Selling Fake Electrical Wires

Hyderabad, Sept 13 (Maxim News): A man was arrested by the Central Zone Task Force, Afzal Ganj Police, who was selling fake electrical wires under the name of Havells company.

According to the police, Lalit Kumar (27), a resident of the Maharaj Ganj area, runs Pragya Electrical shop in Abid’s Troop Bazar. As the business was not profitable, he sketched a fake Danda for easy money. Lalit Kumar, who became acquainted with Delhi-based Devaram, bought fake wires from him in the name of Havell’s Company.

He used to bring them to the city from Delhi and sell them to the customers who came to his shop in Troop Bazar saying they were original Havells company wires. On learning about the matter, the Central Zone Task Force police raided the house of Lalit Kumar. Rs. 3.70 lakh worth of fake wires of Havells Company have been identified and it has been seized. The accused was handed over to the Afzalganj police. (Maxim News)
