MANUU Cricket Team Participates in South Zone Inter-University Competition

Hyderabad, Jan 11 (Maxim News): The students cricket team of Maulana Azad National Urdu University has participated in the All India South Zone Inter Universities Cricket Tournament 2016-17 and went upto third round. The tournament was held at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Padur, Chennai from 3rd to 11th January 2017.

According to Head Cricket Coach MANNU who is also a BCCI Analyst and Coach, Mr. Malik Hafeezullah Khan, MANUU Students put up a good show by winning first two rounds beating Kalasalingam University, Tamilnadu by 44 runs and Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, AP by 9 wickets respectively to reach the third round of the Tournament. The team was defeated in next round by 9 wickets by Annamalai University, Tamilnadu. (Maxim News)
