Metro MD NVS Reddy Out: 6700 Other Employees Too: Revanth Sakar’s Sensational Decision

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (Maxim News): The Telangana government has taken a sensational decision. The Revanth Reddy government has decided to send home those who continue to work on a contract basis even after retirement.

There are 6,729 people working in TelanganaIt has been clarified that orders should be issued to remove them from the ranks and appoint those who are in service in their place. The list of contract employees to be removed by the state government includes Metro Rail MD NVS Reddy, Yadagirigutta Temple Vice Chairman G.Kishan Rao, Consultant Engineer BLN Reddy and ten Transco and Genco directors. The Chief Secretary Shanthi Kumari has issued orders to this effect. She has ordered that all of them be removed by the end of this month. She said that if any of the dismissed employees are considered essential, they should return to duty. With this decision, Chief Secretary to Municipal Administration and Urban Development Dana Kishore issued orders dismissing 177 retired employees who are working on contract basis in the Municipal Administration Department. It was clarified in the order that they will be dismissed immediately. The list includes retired IASs, RDOs, DFOs, engineers, technicians, section officers, tehsildars, municipal commissioners, deputy collectors and many other officials from various cadres working in various departments like HMDA, GHMC, Hyderabad Water Works, metro Rail, RERA, MEPMA, KUDA, YTDA.  (Maxim News)
