Mild Earthquake Hits Delhi-NCR, No Damage Reported

Hyderabad, Feb 17 (Maxim News): A mild earthquake shook the national capital, Delhi, in the early hours of February 17, 2025.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake measured 4.0 on the Richter scale and struck at 5:36 AM. The tremors were also felt in parts of northern India. Officials reported that the epicenter was at a shallow depth of 5 kilometers.

The quake lasted only a few seconds, causing panic as people rushed out of their homes. However, there were no reports of casualties or property damage. (Maxim News)
