Minister Azharuddin Launches AI Training For 80,000 TMREIS Students In Telangana!

Azharuddin Launches AI Training | Hyderabad, July 10 (Maxim News): The Telangana Government has launched a major AI Readiness and Digital Safety Programme for nearly 80,000 minority students studying in 205 Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) schools and colleges across the state.

The initiative aims to equip students with future-ready digital skills and artificial intelligence knowledge.

The programme will be implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy through a strategic partnership between TMREIS, MASK NextGen and Doxa Consulting Private Limited (DCPL).

The AI training programme is scheduled to begin on August 15, 2026, and will be offered free of cost to both the government and students.

Telangana AI Programme to Prepare Minority Students for Future Jobs

Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Minister Mohammed Azharuddin said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring minority students are not left behind in the rapidly evolving digital economy.

He said artificial intelligence is transforming every sector and that students must acquire AI knowledge, digital awareness and critical thinking skills to remain competitive. According to the minister, the government has entered into a three-year partnership with MASK NextGen to provide structured AI education and digital safety training across TMREIS institutions.

Azharuddin also highlighted the government’s focus on women’s empowerment and equal educational opportunities for girls. He said the programme will help girl students gain confidence in technology, improve employability and prepare for leadership roles in emerging sectors.

The curriculum will be delivered through a gamified, self-paced digital learning platform featuring interactive modules on Artificial Intelligence, digital safety, English communication, leadership development, critical thinking and innovation.

The programme is designed to help students build skills required for future careers while promoting the responsible use of technology.

Partnership to Drive AI Education Across TMREIS

The government has appointed Doxa Consulting Private Limited as the global implementation and strategic partner for executing the programme across all TMREIS institutions. Officials said the initiative has been developed under a collaborative and socially responsible partnership model.

Minister Azharuddin appreciated the contributions of Avni Trivedi, Founder and CEO of MASK NextGen, Joseph Christopher of Doxa Consulting Private Limited, TMREIS Secretary B. Shafiullah, and TMREIS President Faheem Qureshi for helping bring the project to fruition.

He said the Telangana Government will extend full support to ensure the programme’s successful implementation and create greater educational and career opportunities for minority students.

Officials said the initiative is expected to become one of India’s largest AI education programmes for minority students, reinforcing Telangana’s vision of emerging as a national hub for technology, innovation and inclusive development.
