Minister Komatireddy Takes Holy Dip At Maha Kumbh Mela
Prayagraj/Hyderabad, Feb 10 (Maxim News): Devotees from all over the country and abroad are flocking to the maha Kumbh mela being held in Prayag Raj with great pomp. They are taking holy dips in the Triveni Sangam and performing special pujas.
Along with saints, political leaders and common people are also participating in this Kumbh mela, which is being held after 144 years. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced that more than 43 crore devotees have taken holy dips in the Maha Kumbh mela so far.
Even though the ‘Amrit Snanalu’ on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya and basant panchami has ended, devotees are still flocking to the maha Kumbh mela in large numbers.
President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Gujrat CM bhupendra patel, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murthy, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh yadav and other dignitaries took holy dip.
Apart from them, film stars Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, Olympic Medalist Saina Nehwal, Choreographer Remy D’Souza and other dignitaries also took holy dip.
Telangana State Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, participated in this holy program. He took a holy bath in the Triveni Sangam. Later, special prayers were performed at the ghats there.
Today (Monday) at 5.10 am, the minister took a holy bath at the Sangam Ghat in Prayagraj. Minister Komatireddy was accompanied by Aleru Congress MLA and Whip Beerla Ayilayya yadav.
Minister Komatireddy performed special prayers at the Sangam Ghat for the prosperity of Telangana. Vedic scholars have the minister Vedic blessings.
Later, minister Komatireddy visited the Bade Hanuman temple and offered prayers to Lord Anjaneya. The priests blessed the minister by offering the Tirtha prasadam.
On this occasion, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy spoke to the media. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that he participated in the Prayagraj maha Kumbh Mela today and performed the Shahi Punyasnanam during brahma Muhurta.
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that he wished that all the people of Telangana should be happy, healthy and have long life, and that the praja government should be given more strength to work for the welfare of the poor. (Maxim News)
