Ministers Assure Support To NGOs Serving Disabled Children

Hyderabad, Dec.17 (Maxim News): Ministers K Eshwar and Satyavati Rathod today appreciated parents for their love and affection towards intellectually challenged children. At a cultural carnival for them at Lalitha Kala Thoranam here, they assured to support the NGOs in their services.

The government will support the NGOs and set up centers to help mentally disabled in districts. They said that the state has about 10.50 lakh disabled including mentally challenged. The parents patience and services to such children are invaluable, they said.

The government implements welfare schemes and increased pension to Rs 3016 a month, they said.(Maxim News)
