BRS MLC Candidates Announced | Hyderabad, Mar 7 (Maxim News): BRS National President and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced the names of Writer Naveen Kumar Kurmaiahgari, Deshapathi Srinivas who is working as CM OSD, and Challa Venkatrami Reddy, former MLA of Alampur as the MLA Quota MLC candidates who were unexpected.
According to the statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, CM asked the candidates to file nominations on March 9 as per the Election Commission schedule for conducting MLa Quota MLC Elections in Telangana.
As the term of BRS MLCs from Nalgonda, Nizamabad, and Hyderabad districts will expire on March 29, in this context, the election notification for the respective positions was released on March 6. The deadline for filing nominations is March 13, Scrutiny of Nominations on March 14 and the deadline for withdrawal of nominations is March 16. elections will be held on March 23 if necessary and counting will be held on the same after polling.
It seems that KCR has selected the candidates keeping in mind the political needs of the respective districts and the benefits to the party through the MLC candidates in the background of this year’s Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, the tenure of MLCs Rajeshwar Rao and Farooq Hussain will also end at the end of May. These two seats also names will be announced before the election process begins for these two positions.
Extension to sitting MLC Kurmaiyagari Naveen Kumar!
KCR has given another chance to Naveen Kumar of Kurmaiyagari who is currently sitting MLC. He has been with KCR for a long time and played a vital role in the movement.
In the 2018 Telangana election Naveen Rao was announced as the candidate of TRS in the by-election after Mainampalli Hanmantha Rao who contested from Malkajgiri assembly constituency won as MLA and resigned from the post of MLC. He was unanimously elected MLC in the Telangana Legislative Council by-election held on June 7, 2019. Now once again extension has been given.
Deshapati Srinivas came to light in the Telangana movement
Deshapati Srinivas came into the limelight in Telangana Udya Masamayam. He sings songs. There is good talk. KCR liked him… being a teacher… he used to work as an OSD in CMO. But in the wake of the Supreme directive not to send teachers on deputation… he was removed from OSD… and then he resigned from his teaching post. The VRS set up by Deshapati has also received a green signal from the government. Since then there has been a campaign that he will give MLC to Deshapati Srinivas on many occasions. Even now his name has been finalized.
Neelam Sanjiva Reddy’s son Challa Venkatrami Reddy!
Former President Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy’s daughter’s son, former Alampur MLA Challa Venkatrami Reddy. Challa Venkatrami Reddy belongs to a politically savvy and well-known political family in the Jogulamba Gadwala district. He recently joined BRS. Challa Venkataramireddy is the first to join BRS after its official emergence as a national party.
Even then, KCR announced that Challa Venkatarami Reddy, who was an active politician, would be given a suitable position in the party and his services would be utilized at the national level. Challa said that he joined BRS because he liked KCR’s national policies and was happy to be the first to join after the party’s announcement. He said that he will work for strengthening the party by following the orders of the leader. MLC was given according to Anna’s word.
