MLC Kavitha Leaves For Delhi In The Delhi Liquor Scam

Hyderabad, March 19, (Maxim News) Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter and BRS MLC K. Kavitha left for Delhi, probably to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for investigation in the Delhi Liquor Scam on March 20.

Along with Kavitha, her brother and Minister K. Tarak Rama Rao and her cousin and BRS MP Santosh also accompanied her to Delhi today. The Delhi Liquor Scam case is taking a new turn day by day. ED investigation, court adjournments, custody of the accused, and many other developments are revolving around this case. Kavitha who is accused in this case is silent and contemptuous of the ED investigation. Kavita criticizes the ED for violating constitutional rules and not respecting the rights of women. I became a mess when she kept quiet about the previous investigation and filed a petition in court.

ED officials questioned Kavitha on March 11. She was again ordered to come for an investigation on March 16, but she went to Delhi on March 16 but did not attend the investigation. In this case, the ED has decided to interrogate Kavitha along with the co-accused. For that, the ED has given a notice to Kavitha to appear for investigation on March 20. In this order, Kavitha approached the Supreme Court by raising objections to the ED investigation. The court also announced the schedule that Kavitha’s petition will be heard on March 24.

As per the ED notice, Kavitha has to appear before the ED for investigation tomorrow. Will Kavitha attend the ED tomorrow? Or it becomes suspenseful. The petition in the court is being used as an excuse. There is a possibility that this time too, Kavitha will remain silent on the ED investigation.

On the other hand, the ED responded to the petition filed by Kavitha in the Supreme Court. The ED filed a caveat petition asking them not to issue any prior orders without hearing their arguments on her petition. It is known that Kavitha made allegations against ED in her petition. Calling her to the office and making her sit till 8.30 pm, especially as a woman, is illegal, she said. In the petition, she said that the ED is threatening and adopting third-degree methods along with the use of force and requested that no coercive measures be taken against him. She mentioned that in the Nalini Chidambaram case, the ED assured the Supreme Court that the woman would not be forced to appear in person, yet she was summoned to the office. Kavitha’s petition will be heard in the Supreme Court on March 24. The Court is also likely to hear the arguments of ED on the same day. (Maxim News)
