More Than 1,000 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded In A Single Day Today

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 19 (Maxim News): More than 1,000 new cases of Corona (Covid-19) were reported today as the H3N2 cases are coming to light in the country. After 129 days, this is the first time that such cases have been registered in the country.

According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, 1071 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours till 8 am today. One person each died in Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Kerala. With this, the number of people who have died due to Covid in the country has increased to 5,30,802.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has recently stated that the Corona epidemic has become an international concern. WHO acknowledges that Covid still remains a dangerous infectious disease with the potential to cause significant damage to health and health systems. Tedros Adhanom, Director General of the World Health Organization, said that the Covid epidemic is still an international emergency. (Maxim News)
