Section 22A Lands  | Hyderabad, August 24 (Maxim News): Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy criticized opposition parties for spreading misleading information regarding Section 22A lands today.

Addressing a press conference in the Secretariat, Hyderabad, the minister stated that critics are inventing false narratives to intimidate property owners across the state.

He clarified that the department granted clear registrations for ninety eight percent of genuine private applications while refusing invalid claims.

The minister strongly rejected opposition assertions claiming that the official government helpline remains out of service.

He confirmed that the toll free number logged over eleven hundred calls from affected property owners.

Official records show that five hundred forty seven calls pertained to agricultural properties, while four hundred thirty three queries involved non-agricultural land.

Furthermore, he reassured the public that legitimate landowners face no risk of transaction delays.

Section 22A Lands | Government Rejects Fake Memos And Disputed Registrations

Ponguleti warned that the government will initiate strict legal prosecution against individuals attempting to secure registrations using fraudulent government orders or fake memos.

He emphasized that ongoing disputes involving CS7 and CS14 land parcels have remained unresolved for several decades due to past administrative actions.

He alleged that opposition leaders are using ordinary citizens as shields to push hidden political agendas.

The minister pointed out that luxury cars were allegedly accepted by previous officials to facilitate illegal registrations of disputed CS7 and CS14 survey numbers. He challenged opposition leaders to face a full inquiry into eight hundred eleven acres of controversial land parcels. Additionally, he cited Survey Number 403 in Kukatpally, explaining that errors placing all twelve hundred eighty eight acres on the prohibited list have been completely rectified.
