Moderate Rains | Hyderabad, July 1: The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rainfall across Telangana on Tuesday and Wednesday. Cloudy skies have been reported throughout the state, with rain intensity expected to increase further on July 3 and 4, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Hyderabad witnessed heavy rains overnight, leading to waterlogging in several areas, including Panjagutta, Lakdikapool, Malakpet, Yusufguda, Jubilee Hills, Sheikhpet, Khajaguda, Manikonda, Medchal, Secunderabad, Himayatnagar, and Narayanguda.

Moderate Rains Likely in Telangana

At the Dwarka Hotel junction in Lakdikapool, HYDRAA teams intervened to clear stagnant water by diverting it into manholes. Meanwhile, strong winds disrupted power supply in parts of Manikonda and Attapur.

Authorities have advised residents to stay alert and avoid low-lying areas during the rain. The public is urged to follow updates from official sources as the weather system develops over the next few days.
