Modi Made Key Announcement From The Red Fort

Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 15 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made important promises to the people. Special schemes for women empowerment, rural development, and vocational youth were announced. 

Hoisting the National Flag at Red Fort, on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, special guests from the country and abroad participated, today, Prime Minister Modi said that the Vishwakarma scheme will be started next month with an allocation of Rs. 13,000 crore to Rs. 15,000 crore.  Those with traditional skills like barbering, washing clothes, and making gold ornaments will be benefited under this scheme, he said. 

MEDICINE AT A CHEAP PRICE 

Prime Minister Modi said that his government has prepared a plan to increase Jana Aushadhi Kendras from the present 10 thousand to 25 thousand.  He said that they are working with the aim of making generic medicines available to everyone.  He said that diabetic patients have to spend up to Rs. 3,000 per month, while drugs worth Rs. 100 are available for Rs. 10 to Rs. 15 in Jana Aushadhi Kendras. 

DREAM OF OWNING A HOUSE 

Prime Minister Modi said that his government is introducing a scheme for those who dream of having their own house in towns and cities.  He said that this scheme is being started to provide relief in bank loans to middle-class people who live in cities and do not have their own houses. 

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY 

He said that when he assumed the post of Prime Minister in 2014, the economy of the country was ranked 10th in the world, today it has grown to the fifth position, and in the next five years it will be one of the top three economies in the world. 

He said that more measures are being taken to ensure that the price burden on the people is minimal due to rising inflation.  He said that his government has succeeded to some extent in keeping inflation under control.  This effort will continue. 

He appreciated the efforts of women’s self-help groups.  He said that his dream is to make two crore women millionaires.  He said that today there are 10 crore women in women’s self-help groups.  He said that if development is led by women, the country will achieve more development.  He said that he is proud to say that there are women pilots in the field of civil aviation and women are becoming scientists.  The Chandrayaan program is led by women scientists.  The G20 countries have recognized the importance of women-led development.

TEN TIMES IN A ROW 

This is the tenth time in a row that Prime Minister Modi addressed the Red Fort.  This time he addressed the people of the country as members of his family.  He addressed “Parivarjan” (family members).  Earlier he used to address the people of the country as “My dear brothers and sisters” 

Like every year this time also he wore a new type of turban and dress.  Wearing a colorful Rajasthani bandhani print turban, off-white kurta, V-neck jacket, Chudidar.  The turban is yellow, green, and red.  a long cloth hangs from it.  (Maxim News)
