Hyderabad, Oct.20 (Maxim News): More number of people are taking to Metro Rail services in the city in the wake of RTC strike, according to Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) Managing Director, NVS Reddy.

He inspected the rush at metro rail station at Miyapur here. Since the RTC strike is on more people taking the metro rail services, he said. Normally about 3 lakhs of people are traveling in the metro rail services every day. Now during RTC strike period, about 50000 more people are taking the metro rail services, Reddy said.

The HMR has put in place world class metro rail services and getting better patronage, he added.(Maxim News)
