More Vande Bharat Trains From Telugu States: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav
Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Maxim News): Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that more Vande Bharat trains will be run from Telugu states. He explained that Telangana has not been treated unfairly in terms of railway projects. He said that Kazipet Railway Station is being developed and there is a delay because some work needs to be approved.
he spoke to the media in Delhi, today, he said “We recently went to Switzerland and inspected the railway tracks there. We are following the Swiss system in the management of railway tracks. A trial is underway on sleeping seats in Vande Bharat trains. We are installing the protective system ‘Kavach’ in important stations. Telangana currently has 1,326 km of Kavach technology. We are installing this technology in another 1,026 km. We will make Kavach technology available throughout the country by 2026. We will set up a Kavach Center for Excellence in Secunderabad. Currently, five Vande Bharat trains are running from Telangana. Electrification work of all railway lines in the state has been completed. We are running Namo Bharat trains for the poor. Soon, we will bring about 100 Namo Bharat Expresses across the country. The poor people will benefit the most from these trains,” the Union Minister said.
We have allocated Rs. 9,417 for the development of railways in AP. We have allocated funds to AP, which is 11 times more than during the UPA regime. Various projects are underway in AP with a total of Rs. 84,559 crore. We have laid 1,560 km of new railway tracks in the state. They are cooperating to ensure that railway work is done quickly. Currently, 8 Vande Bharat trains are running across 16 districts of AP. We will allocate more. Vande Bharat trains in AP. We are preparing tracks so that all trains can run at a speed of 110 km. We will set up tracks so that some routes can run at speeds of 130 km and 160 km. Ashwini Vaishnav said that work on many railway projects is already underway in AP.
