Musi River Rejuvenation Project: Land Acquisition Speeds Up In Rajendranagar
Hyderabad, Feb. 24 (Maxim News): The land acquisition process under the Musi River cleaning and rejuvenation project has gained momentum. In this regard, RDO Venkat Reddy made key announcements about the affected areas in Rajendranagar.
To begin with, he stated that notifications for land acquisition have already been issued. Furthermore, he clarified that constructions will be taken over as per the rules. Specifically, notifications related to Kismatpur and Darga areas have been released. In addition, buildings located in Bandlaguda Jagir and Upparpally will also be acquired soon.
Meanwhile, RDO Venkat Reddy addressed the issue of Madhupark Ridge Apartment, which has been under discussion in recent weeks. He confirmed that the apartment complex falls entirely within the Musi buffer zone. Although the building was constructed after obtaining all necessary permissions in the past, it will now be acquired under the current project norms. However, he assured that affected residents will receive compensation as per government guidelines before the takeover.
Moreover, he clearly stated that all residential and other structures located within 50 metres of the Musi River boundary will be taken over by the government. The authorities plan to carry out the process in a transparent and phased manner.
Additionally, officials will collect public objections and suggestions within 60 days of issuing the preliminary notification. After reviewing these responses, the final decision will be taken. Finally, RDO Venkat Reddy appealed to the public to cooperate with the government in the development of the Musi riverfront areas. (Maxim News)
