Narsingi police custody escape | Hyderabad, July 1 (Maxim News): A man arrested with 900 grams of hash oil allegedly escaped from police custody at the Narsingi Police Station on Wednesday, triggering an intensive search operation by the police.
The accused, identified as Muzaffar, a resident of Attapur, was apprehended by the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) during a raid at Manikonda. Officials said the special team seized 900 grams of hash oil from his possession before handing him over to the Narsingi Police for registration of a case and further investigation.
According to police sources, Muzaffar managed to escape after being taken into custody at the police station. Police immediately launched a manhunt to trace and arrest him.
Authorities said efforts are underway to recapture the accused while an inquiry is also being conducted into the circumstances that led to his escape from custody. The narcotics case and the custodial escape are both under investigation.

In another incident, a 70-year-old man was allegedly murdered at his residence on Santoshnagar Main Road in Jawaharnagar on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Devaraju, was allegedly attacked and killed by a 34-year-old man identified as Deva.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the suspect into custody.
A case has been registered at the Jawaharnagar Police Station, and investigators are examining the motive behind the murder and the circumstances that led to the crime.
Police said further investigation is in progress.
