A total of 43,676 candidates registered in Hyderabad, 26,032 appeared for the paper I, and 25,787 took the paper II. This means 245 candidates skipped the paper-II after taking the paper-I, reflecting the toughness of the paper.

Several candidates reported that the paper-I questions had twists and turns, framed mainly to eliminate aspirants from the race.

No questions were from question banks. Questions and options were framed in a way that there was no scope for candidates to exercise the elimination process to arrive at the correct answer, said an aspirant who took the test in the city.
