Need to think about Workers’ Welfare: Kishan

Hyderabad, May 1 (Maxim News): Union minister G. Kishan Reddy today took part in a meeting of Telugu movie workers. The meeting was held by Telugu film federation. State ministers V. Srinivas Goud, Ch. Malla Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Megastar Chiranjeevi took part in the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said they had brought social security code for the workers of the Telugu speaking States which would help all the movie workers of Tollywood a lot. He also said they had abolished 29 unwanted laws and brought their number to just four. He said the country has 50 crore workers and five crore of them were working in organised sectors while the remaining 45 crores were working in unorganised sectors. He said the workers from the organised sectors were getting facilities like PF, ESI and the workers from the unorganised sectors were not getting them. He said there was a need to think about their welfare.

Commenting on the program, he said the administration of corona vaccine was responsible for the organisation of the program. “The corona virus has wreaked havoc on the country and tourism and film industry has suffered a lot due to the dreaded virus. “We have developed a great vaccine that has attracted the attention of the entire world,” he said.
