NEET UG 2025 Results Out: Telugu States Shine With Multiple Top 100 Ranks

Delhi/Hyderabad, June 14: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the NEET UG 2025, the all-India medical entrance examination for MBBS, BDS, and allied medical courses. The results, released on Saturday, brought cheer to many as students from the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh secured several ranks within the top 100.

This year, Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan clinched the All India Rank 1, followed by Utkarsh Awadiya of Madhya Pradesh at Rank 2, Krishang Joshi of Maharashtra at Rank 3, Mrinal Kishore Jha from Delhi-NCT at Rank 4, and Avika Agarwal at Rank 5.

Among the Telugu states, students performed impressively. From Telangana, Jeevan Saikumar secured Rank 18, Shanmukha Nishikant Akshintala secured Rank 37, M. Varun bagged Rank 46, Y. Shanmukh attained Rank 48, and Vidisha Maji secured Rank 95. From Andhra Pradesh, Karthik Ram Kinti stood at Rank 19, Kodavati Mohit Sriram at Rank 56, Desina Surya Charan at Rank 59, P. Avinash at Rank 64, Y. Sameer Kumar at Rank 70, and T. Shivamanidi at Rank 92.

In Telangana alone, 72,507 candidates appeared for the exam. The state, home to 33 government medical colleges, 2 deemed universities, and 29 private medical colleges, offers a total of 8,515 MBBS seats. The strong performance of local students is expected to boost their chances of securing admissions to these institutions.

This year’s NEET UG was held on May 4 at over 5,400 centers nationwide, including 14 overseas centers. Over 20.8 lakh students took the exam, marking a decline compared to last year’s 23 lakh candidates. The exam was conducted under strict security measures.

Students can check their results and download scorecards from the official NEET website: https://neet.nta.nic.in. Many candidates have already received their scorecards via email.

The NTA had earlier released the final answer key on Saturday morning, followed by the announcement of the results.
