Nehru Forced Burgula To Accept TS Merger: KCR

Hyderabad, Dec.5 (Maxim News): Chief Minister of erstwhile Hyderabad State Burgula Ramakrishna Rao forcibly merged Telangana State into Andhra region to become chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh in 1956 under the pressure of then Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.

This was informed by TRS supremo and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at his Gajwel segment on the last day of campaigning here. “Ramakrishna Rao feared with his knickers dampened by seeing Nehru and merged the Hyderabad State of Telangana into Andhra region without any second thought. When press persons asked him at Begumpet Airport on return from Delhi, Ramakrishna Rao replied that Nehru directed him for the merger of the two States to form and Telangana since then deprived in all sectors. KCR also said since then the successive governments destroyed the Telangana region systematically, devastated every field, crumbled life of people and collapsed all systems.

Now upon achieving statehood for Telangana after 14 years of agitation with the Centre, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu was coming in the name of polls and the Congress “sannasulu” without shame forged an alliance against our welfare State moving fast on growth trajectory, he said. It is known to the people that Chandrababu Naidu wrote 30 letters to the Centre against Telangana projects. So there was no reason as to why the people will vote for Congress and TD alliance in the polls. Dump the Congress alliance in the polls as the State is set to see the TRS dispensation second time in row, he added. (Maxim News)
