NIA conducts raids in Old Hyderabad, One Arrested

Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxim News): The sleuths of National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday conducted search operations for ISIS suspects on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The drive was conducted in connection with the Delhi conspiracy case. The searches were held in Shastripuram under the limits of Mailardevpally. According to sources, as many as eight sympathizers of ISIS including suspected terrorist Abdul Basith were reportedly staying in the area for some time. Learned to have been stationed in the area. The NIA also conducted searches in the Kings Colony area of Hyderabad.

It may be noted here that Basith was arrested in the year 2018 and another suspect Abdul Qhadeer was arrested in February this year by NIA at Patiala House court of Delhi.

The Local Task Force Police and the NIA jointly conducted the searches in eight suspected places of the ISIS sympathizers. Heavy police personnel have been deployed at the King’s Colony in Mailardevpally to avoid any law and order problem. As per the reports, one terror suspect has also been been arrested by the sleuths.

The NIA has already arrested eight terrorists in connection with the Delhi conspiracy case so far. The police thwarted the attempts of ca couple of youngsters from Mailardevpally, to join the ISIS by holding counseling to them. (Maxim News)
