Hyderabad, Sept.8 (Maxim News): TRS leader Gundu Sudha Rani today said her party would not lose anything if Konda Surekha and her husband Konda Murali quit the party.
Talking to mediapersons here today, Sudha Rani took serious exception to Konda couple’s remarks and termed them as baseless. She condemned the couple’s comments that at the behest of KT Rama Rao, the TRS chief denied them a ticket and caused injustice besides seeking clarifications.
Sudha Rani slammed Surekha and Murali for raising a banner of revolt against the TRS. It was the TRS that gave them political recognition when they were not enjoying positions in any political party. She also said party supremo KCR’s decision to deny ticket from Warangal East in the list of 105 candidates was final. Censuring Konda Surekha couple for its anti-party activities, Sudha Rani revealed that ruling party was unhappy with them. As KCR offered the Konda couple a place in the party, Konda couple cannot talk against the party leadership and seek clarifications, she said.
“Konda Surekha was not a local and the people in the segment were ready to support any other leader except the family member of Konda couple”, Sudha Rani said, adding that party leaders and activists in Warangal are ready to move forward under the leadership of KCR. (Maxim News)
